Relational Notions LLC is a culture strategy and facilitation practice supporting organizations through moments of complexity, transition, and change. We believe organizations can face what is difficult without losing sight of dignity, purpose, or the possibility of moving forward together.

Relational practice starts with a simple premise: organizations are not only structures, strategies, and workflows. They are also living networks of trust, meaning, history, power, and interdependence.

That means culture work cannot be reduced to a new framework or a single training. It asks us to notice how people experience the organization, how decisions get made, whose knowledge counts, and what becomes possible when people can participate with honesty.

We bring equity and belonging into the practical details of the work: how a process is designed, how tension is held, how power is made visible, and how ownership is genuinely shared.

We never let the urgency or complexity of the work eclipse the humanity of the people doing it. We lead with humility and vulnerability as a commitment to making sure every person we work with knows they matter.

Elsa Casanova is the founder and principal consultant of Relational Notions.

With a background shaped by lived experience, community work, and years of supporting teams across nonprofits, public agencies, and mission-driven organizations, Elsa brings a grounded and human approach to culture and systems change. They help leaders and teams slow down enough to connect with one another, name what’s real, and design more equitable and caring ways of working together and creating impact in the communities they serve.

Elsa is known for creating spaces where people feel safe to be honest, brave enough to imagine something different, and supported enough to move forward together. Their work blends strategic thinking with deep listening, meeting teams exactly where they are while helping them grow toward what’s possible.
